The Heidolph Tuttnauer 2540M autoclave (model HEI-023210304) is a 23 L/6 gallon analog sterilizer with a 10 x 18” (diameter x depth) chamber, four stainless steel trays, and a 120V power source. Temperature settings are selectable from 100 to 134 degrees C (212 to 273 F) with sterilization times up to 60 minutes for simplified operations. The autoclave comes with four stainless steel trays for maximizing space in the chamber by holding instruments, liquids, laboratory equipment and other items to be sterilized. The autoclave has a combination pressure and temperature gauge, and an automatic low water shut off to prevent damage to the heating elements if there is insufficient water for sterilization.
